TED - Technology, Entertainment, Design - A Fantastic Website
I’ve just come across a new website that will blow your mind. All thanks go to Maki from the Dosh Dosh blog for telling me about this fantastic site.
TED which stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design is basically an annual conference that brings together some of the greatest minds in the world. Each speaker talks for 20-30 mins about their chosen subject, be it business, the future of oil or some technological advance. All of these talks are available all year round on the TED Website in video and MP3 formats for your viewing pleasure 
I’m definitly going to be rushing to get my tasks done today so I can site down and watch some more of these fantastic talks. I’ve just watched Amory Lovins: We must win the oil endgame a fantastic look at how we can reduce our dependance on oil, you can also get a free copy of his book from the Oil End Game website. On a completely different tangent I decided to watch the Vilayanur Ramachandran: A journey to the center of your mind video, which is a fasinating look at what he is researching within our minds, from how to get rid of Phantom Limbs and why some people can’t recognise their mothers face, absolutley fascinating!
