So I find myself utterly and tottaly addicted to Warhawk on the PS3

Man alive I love Warhawk. Last summer I won a Playstation 3 ( lucky boy ) by being the best affiliate for one of the merchants I work with. In all honesty I wouldn’t at the time have bought one but I am so glad I won one!

To begin with I got Resistance Fall of Man, Motorstorm and Dirt, all great games and I got many hours of enjoyment out of them, but they just didn’t hold my attention long enough. I needed a running jumping and shooting type game. The last great game I got into was Battlefield 2142 on the PC so I was hoping something like this would come out on the PS3. After a few months of going to the Playstation Store and seeing Warhawk I thought mmmm lets have a look at it online, read a few reviews and see what its like. If I being honest I was 50/50 about it, but it was only 20 quid so I thought balls to it I need some entertainment.

That was in late November, it took me a while to get my head round the game style, I prefer first person rather than third person so it took me a while to get used to it. Warhawk is a 100% multiplayer game there is no singleplayer mode so your instantly thrown into the thick of it, ie you get your head right royally stoved in. It took me about three days to work out that when you get in a Warhawk you have two modes, hover & flight…

I was thinking while hovering about, why does everyone else go really fast when they fly and I don’t? then I read the instruction book! found out you press triangle to fly properly. So no I could fly into things really fast as well as get blown out of the sky as normal!

Now 200+ hours later I’m a member of the Dadsarmy Clan and I can’t get enough of Warhawk and clan matches, I love it. So If you haven’t got it already I highly recommend getting it on disk or downloading a copy!
